TThoth HQ

For UK property maintenance and trade teams

WhatsApp is fine for two engineers. Here's what breaks at five.

Photos buried in group chats, “did anyone go to Flat 3?”, and no record you can show a landlord. Thoth HQ keeps the one-tap simplicity and adds the record.

No card needed. From £39 a month for the whole team. No contract.

An engineer's phone showing a visit with large Start travelling and I'm already here buttons

“My engineers won’t use anything more complicated than WhatsApp”

They don’t have to. The engineer’s screen is a short list of today’s visits and four big buttons: Start travelling, I’ve arrived, Start work, Work finished. Photos go in the same place as the tap, so nothing gets lost in a chat thread.

There’s no app to install and no login to remember on site: they open a link once and the phone keeps them signed in.

Everything they tap is kept with its real time, even in a basement with no signal, and sent when the signal comes back.

How it works

  1. 1The office books the job and the visit on one screen.
  2. 2The engineer taps through the visit on their phone, with photos and a signature.
  3. 3The office reviews it and emails the job sheet to the customer.

Being straight with you

Thoth HQ doesn’t do quoting, invoicing or gas certificates yet. It does the booking, the scheduling and the proof of each visit.

Questions people ask

Do engineers need a company phone?
No. It works in the browser on any iPhone or Android phone, including their own.
What if an engineer forgets to tap?
The office sees a visit still showing as “booked” after its slot and can chase it. Taps can’t be backdated, so the record stays honest.
Can I still use WhatsApp?
Of course. Many teams keep it for banter and use Thoth HQ for the record of the work.
How long does it take to set up?
About ten minutes: create the company, invite the team with a link, add a customer and book a job.
